WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – Teams looking for a missing couple in the Strawberry Reservoir Reservoir said they found the body of a missing man Saturday who appeared to be drowning in one part of the tank.

The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office said in an article posted on Facebook Saturday that search and rescue teams had found the body of an adult man in the Chicken Creek West Reservoir area. He was later identified as Benjamin S. Margalis, 24, of Goodhue, Minnesota, 24 years old.

According to the Wasatch County Sheriff's Office, the father of a 26-year-old woman from Salt Lake County called the authorities Thursday night to announce that her daughter had gone camping on November 11 near the Strawberry Reservoir with her boyfriend and his dog.

On Friday morning, Wasatch County MPs found the woman's vehicle in a parking lot near the Chicken Creek Reservoir. WCSO stated that all the couple's camping gear was still in the car, but that it lacked a canoe. A helicopter spotted this canoe on an island of the tank Friday morning. Several hours later, the teams found the woman's dog.

This is a last-minute story. Additional information will be posted as soon as it is available.
