NORFOLK, VA – Thanksgiving is in a few days and AAA says more than a million people in Virginia should travel during their holidays.
This means that there could be a lot of traffic on the roads this week.
This Thanksgiving trip is expected to be the highest since 2005, with many people choosing to drive away.

According to AAA, the most saturated rush hours on the roads are the day before Thanksgiving, between 5 pm and 7 pm
People who do not travel told News 3's Aleah Hordges that they hoped to be able to leave work early.
"It's just Thanksgiving, and people are leaving town.I'm not around 6 o'clock, so there may be some traffic, but hopefully it will not be traffic "said Patrice Poole, a resident of Virginia Beach.
And it's not just roads that will see traffic. Air travel and other means of transportation should be charged.
According to AAA, drivers will pay the highest gas price over the Thanksgiving holiday of $ 2.35 a gallon, but some people say at News 3 that it can be a lot worse.
"For people traveling, it's really a good thing – it's really a time when you have to try to save," Poole said.
