Devastating forest fires took over California, burning an entire city and forcing thousands of people to flee their homes. At least two major fires continue to spread in the state, including the campfire north of Sacramento, responsible for the deaths of at least 77 people, making it the site of fire. most deadly ever recorded in California.
The Woolsey fire, more than 90% controlled, threatened thousands of structures northwest of Los Angeles. In total, 80 people died throughout the country.

<h4><strong>American Red Cross</strong></h4>
<p>The Red Cross is seeking donations for the many evacuation centers it has opened for California residents seeking refuge. The evacuation centers of the Red Cross accept pets. You can visit redcross.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS or send the word REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $ 10. </p>
<h4><strong>United Way</strong></h4>
<p>United Way of Greater Los Angeles and United Way of Northern California are seeking donations to help their respective communities. United Way of Northern California provides emergency cash grants to people who have lost their homes and strives to connect other non-profit organizations with survivors who need their services. United Way of Greater Los Angeles has also set up a disaster relief fund. </p>
<h4><strong>Airbnb</strong></h4>
<p>Airbnb is looking for people able to welcome people displaced by fires and aid workers in Ventura, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego counties until November 29th. You can register here if you are interested in being a host. </p>
<h4><strong>Salvation Army</strong></h4>
<p>The Salvation Army works at both ends of the state to provide meals and gift cards to forest fire victims. To date, they have provided more than 150,000 meals and over $ 100,000 worth of gift cards and other essentials. Donate to those affected in northern California, fire here and help the victims of Southern California to go there.</p>
<h4><strong>International Association of Fire Fighters</strong></h4>
<p>The IAFF, which represents thousands of firefighters and stakeholders, is accepting donations for its disaster relief fund. The 100-year-old organization uses these funds to help firefighters working on the front lines and their families, from financial support to emotional support.</p>
<h4><strong>GoFundMe</strong></h4>
<p>GoFundMe has compiled a list of verified GoFundMe campaigns to help fire victims. If you can not choose a campaign or want to help more, you can also donate to their Direct Impact fund, which supports a number of fire campaigns in California.</p>
