Josh Richardson was fined $ 25,000 for throwing his shoe into the crowd in the Miami Heat's 113-97 loss to the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.

"I do not want to talk about it – it was a series of events," explained Richardson after the loss. "I was caught up."
"I did not really think much about it," he added. "I was thinking about my frustration, and to go ahead, I can not let that happen."
While there was 6:40 remaining in the fourth quarter, Richardson attempted a dunk and realized that he was stained by Josh Hart of the Lakers. As Richardson hit the ground under the basket, his left shoe was coming off. Richardson removed it and projected it right in front of him. As the game resumed, Richardson's frustration increased. He shot his fifth personal foul and also threw his shoe against the scorer's table.
