The famous rapper Snoop Dogg took advantage of the warmth of love and appreciation while he was honored by a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood on Monday.
The rapper "Young, Wild & Free" addressed the large and encouraging crowd, where he thanked with emotion all the people who had helped him achieve his dream of becoming a star on Hollywood Blvd. and shared his love for his fans and followers.
"I've been to Hollywood for a long time, I'm looking at these stars and I imagine what it would be like to be there one day," said the 47-year-old rapper. "And it's a great feeling to look here and see all the people who make me what I really am: the fans."
Snoop was joined by a number of his famous friends at the celebrity ceremony, which is held in front of the Masonic Hall of Hollywood, the current Jimmy Kimmel Live! where is Snoop's star.
Kimmel himself was among the celebrities who shared kind words about the rapper's legacy and career, with the recording of legend Quincy Jones and music mogul Dr. Dre.
Pharrell Williams, John Singleton, Warren G., Big Boi, Ty Dolla Sign and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, among others, were also present at the ceremony to join the rapper's big day celebration.
The traditional Hollywood honor took place just four days before the 25th anniversary of Snoop's first studio album, Doggystyle: This hit version is imposed as one of the most critically acclaimed hip-hop albums. The rapper has subsequently released 16 solo studio albums, sold to over 35 million copies worldwide, leaving an indelible mark on the genre.
