A future film actress filed a restraining order Monday against lawyer Michael Avenatti, just days after his arrest by the police for domestic violence, according to judicial information obtained by The Blast.
Mareli Miniutti, an actress who participated in the movie Ocean's 8, filed a ban in Los Angeles on Monday for non-violence against domestic violence, the daily reported. It was not clear right away if Miniutti was the woman who had accused Avenatti of domestic violence last week.
Miniutti did not immediately respond to Fox News's request for comment.
"I have NEVER abused a woman nor committed domestic violence," tweeted Avenatti after the first report of the restraining order. "Any claim to the contrary is completely false and fabricated, I am a target, and I will be exonerated."

Avenatti was formally charged Wednesday with domestic criminal violence, Fox News told Los Angeles police officer Rosario Herrera.
"I have never been a victim of physical violence in my life nor last night," said Avenatti after his release. "Any accusation to the contrary is fabricated and made to harm my reputation."
Avenatti, a critic of President Trump and a lawyer for adult movie star Stormy Daniels, was considered a rising star in the Democratic Party, as presided over by a presidential candidate in the 2020 elections.
The Vermont Democratic Party canceled Friday and Saturday planned Avenatti events and reimbursed ticket sales.
A hearing for the blocking order will be held in Santa Monica next month, according to court records.
