Raiders' Notes: Keon Hatcher signed to replace Brandon LaFell, injured

ALAMEDA – The Raiders were determined to run the ball well Sunday against Arizona. Doug Martin carried the charge early, but was injured in the ankle in the second half.

The Raiders trusted Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington, a little-used player, to keep playing, and both of them did their job well.

The rushing trio racked up 152 yards on 33 carries in a 23-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The last time this franchise gave three different rushers in 10 games: November 9, 2003.

The Raiders lost this match but won it thanks to an offensive balance that is rare.

Richard had 32 shots in total, Washington had 23 and Martin 14 in the first half before succumbing to an injury. Martin's ankle should not be a problem in the long run.

The Raiders seem to have found their safety early in the season, while Marcus Gilchrist and Karl Joseph have overseen most of the work. Gareon Conley had an interception in the first period, but gave way to Rashaan Melvin most of the time.

Here is the complete count of the victory of the Raiders in Arizona.
