LONDON: Bitcoin dropped more than 7.5% Tuesday to less than $ 4,500, nearly a third of the world's best-known cryptocurrency losses in a week, while sales digital currencies have intensified.
The other crypto-currencies also fell sharply, Ethereum's Ethereum losing 10% and Ripple's XRP, by 13%, in a largely sentiment-driven slide.
Bitcoin is now trading at $ 4,354.20, its lowest level on the stock market since October 2017.
