"You may know me on your parents' TV when you go home to do the laundry," FOX News Channel told the news channel. Chris Wallace open a clip of The show late with Stephen Colbert. Wallace was the show's guest Monday night, after his big weekend interview with the president Donald Trump, and the show released the Thanksgiving skit on Youtube.
"The Thanksgiving dinner can be a recipe to argue," says the promo, "so we asked Fox News anchor Chris Wallace to give us some tips to moderate your Day of the Day debates. Turkey."
"I usually moderate presidential debates and political round tables, but nothing is more combative than the Thanksgiving dinner table," says Wallace in the clip. "So I'm here to share my entertainment tip with the Thanksgiving dinner, to keep things from getting too rowdy at this year's family reunion."
It has become a political trope in recent years to give tips for dealing with parents with different political opinions after the Obama OFA has published a guide on how to discuss Obamacare with your Uncle Jerk etc. But Wallace's advice is much better than theirs.
For example, "If your family is fighting over whether to serve roast turkey or fried turkey, just serve them turkey wild, until they're too much." drunk to argue, "advised Wallace. It's funny, but it also makes you think.
"Do not let people leave the table without saying," Excuse me "or" Freedom of the press is the cornerstone of our democracy, "was another great advice.
The best advice was to brush your turkey with extra tryptophan. "They will take a nap on the couch before anyone can sing" Let's lock it up, "he said.
The bottom line is that you should drug your family for Thanksgiving, which, I think, suits the left and the right.
