Mareli Miniutti, the accuser of Michael Avenatti, said that he had dragged her and left with marks on her skin

The woman who accused Michael Avenatti of spousal abuse said that he dragged her and left her with red marks and that it was not the first time he had become aggressive with her, according to court documents.

Avenatti, the lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels and one of the main antagonists of President Donald Trump, was arrested last week on suspicion of spousal abuse. Officers from west Los Angeles arrested him on Wednesday while he was collecting an incident report. He had been booked but released on a deposit of $ 50,000.

Actress Mareli Miniutti, who requested a provisional injunction Monday against Avenatti, said she had been living with him since January. Once she pulled on pants and came out of the apartment, Miniutti wrote that Avenatti was following her, saying, "Do not do that … do not involve them."

Miniutti said that she had gone to a friend's house and that she had called the police to report the incident when she had noticed the red marks on her body. Avenatti was arrested the next day.

"I have never been a victim of physical violence in my life or last night.All charges to the contrary are fabricated and intended to harm my reputation.I am looking forward to being fully exonerated," said Avenatti. in a statement. He has since repeatedly denied the charges on Twitter and claims to have surveillance footage showing his innocence.

On Tuesday, he tweeted his request for the building where the alleged incident occurred to be broadcast on 13 and 14 November to the Los Angeles Police Department.
