Meghan Markle starts cooking Thanksgiving!
The Duchess of Sussex, born in the United States, stopped Wednesday at Hubb Community Kitchen in West London to cook with women with whom she collaborated Together: our community cookbook.
The 37-year-old pregnant woman, Royal, wrote a forwards cookbook and presented it as her first solo initiative as a royal.
Upon arriving at the kitchen, Meghan looked ready for the winter holidays and wore a burgundy coat and a Club Monaco dress. She matched the look with black tights and black boots.
Hubb Community Kitchen is working to help people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in London in 2017, which has claimed the lives of over 70 people and displaced many families.
Prior to his visit, it was announced that the cookbook had been sold at around 40,000 copies in the UK and had raised $ 270,000 over the seven weeks of sales. This money helped keep the kitchen open seven days a week and give food security classes to those working in the establishment.
Outside the kitchen, the Duchess happily kissed several women with whom she had worked and collaborated in the past. Once inside, she quickly removed her coat and put on an apron, going to work to prepare 200 meals for the community.
The Duchess is currently in her second trimester of pregnancy and has just returned from a 16-day long trip to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand with her husband, Prince Harry.
