Ariana Grande says "thank you, next door" to Morgan Piers.
The singer criticized Wednesday the journalist after seeing his critical comments on Small mixture and Ellen Degeneres. It all began Monday when Morgan criticized DeGeneres' famous men's montage on the occasion of International Men's Day.
"Ellen drooling today on famous men's bodies on the #InternationalMensDay2018.But I've been abused all day for complimenting @hollywills on her legs", Morgan tweeted. "The hypocrisy of modern feminism laid bare .."
The next day, Morgan went back on Twitter to criticize Little Mix about a recent promotional photo of their next album. The photo shows the stripped group with critical words written as "weak" and "bitch".
After seeing the picture, Morgan tried to say that Little Mix "stole" the idea of the Dixie Chicks, who had already made a similar shoot for Weekly entertainment in 2003.
"Hey @ LittleMix – when will you admit that you stole this idea from @ dixiechicks?" Morgan tweeted the group.
It's then that Ariana Grande's mother, Joan Grande, intervened to defend Little Mix.
"Honestly, what's wrong with you @piersmorgan?" Joan asked. "Did not your mother ever teach, if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say it! You came for @TheEllenShow yesterday who was ashamed, she is an angel. @ LittleMix today, have you ever heard of homage? "Well … too bad."
"Hello Joan, my mom has learned to say what I think and never be afraid to express an honest opinion," Morgan replied. "Ellen is a hypocrite – and for Little Mix, I would simply prefer that they use their talent to sell discs rather than their nakedness, as your own daughter does …!"
After this tweet, Grande wrote to Morgan: "Ellen is an amazing and kind human being.I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because I want it.Women can be sexual AND talented.Nude and worthy It's OUR choice, and we'll continue to fight until people understand, and I say this with all due respect, but thank you, then.
"Hi Ariana! How nice to hear from you so soon after your mother," replied Morgan. "Of course, women can do what they want – but if they / you use nudity to sell records to impressionable young female fans, I will continue to call them / talk to you about them. but thanks, then … "
"Also, @piersmorgan, I look forward to the day when you will realize that there are other ways to make yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful and successful women for everything they do, "tweeted Grande. "I think it will be a good thing for you and your career or what's left of it."
Big then discovered Morgan's tweet earlier this week for International Men's Day, which included a stripped picture of him, promoting his column.
"When you do it is ok then no?" great tweeted.
"Is this your screen saver?" Morgan replied, to which Grande assured him no. "Nah and it's not your daughters either, I can promise you."
