A mother from Iowa said her son, a diabetic, died tragically after trying to ration his insulin because of the high cost of the life-saving drug.
Janelle Lutgen told KWWL that her son, Jesse Lutgen, has type 1 diabetes, died in February 2018 at the age of 32 after being unable to get treatment properly.
"I miss him every day, I think about him every day," Lutgen told the chain. "The football season has been difficult because it's what he liked the most."
