Despite requests from fans and Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman reiterated in a new interview that he had finished with Wolverine and was not convinced that the world wanted a rapprochement between them …

Hugh Jackman suspended his claws after playing in Logan Last year, and now that Disney is acquiring Fox, Wolverine and Deadpool can only be seen if Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige manage to convince the actor to take over the role (which seems highly unlikely considering playing again the hero would confuse casual spectators).

In a recent interview, Jackman was asked about a potential return and said: "Oh, Wolverine will be back, somebody's going to buy it, I do not know."

When it was mentioned that it would not be him who would do it, he added: "No, but Ryan [Reynolds] is relentless. He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms. I just said, "You know, I do not think the world really wants to see Deadpool and Wolverine." Maybe a Deadpool cameo? I just think it turns on Deadpool. "
