FSU basketball to be tested at AdvoCare Invitational tournament in Orlando

Coach Leonard Hamilton and his Seminoles (14-0) from the state of Florida (3-0) continue to draw the country's attention as they build on their early successes. They have currently averaged 21.3 points per game.

The FSU started slowly against Canisius on Monday night. Seven minutes from the end, the Seminoles eliminated their inconsistent game by adding a dose of energy. They moved away for a 93-61 win over the Golden Griffins.

The team's next step is to face stiff competition at the AdvoCare AdvoCare, which will take place at ESPN's Wide World of Sports, from Thanksgiving until Sunday.

The USF will face UAB (3-0) in the first round, the first of three competitions in four days – by far the most exhausting of the year.

"There is no doubt that we will be challenged," Hamilton said. "We have to be comfortable with the fact that all our players play well to succeed in the quality of the competition we will face.
