Macy's apologizes for her "technical difficulties" after her fans who attended the Thanksgiving parade prompted singer Rita Ora to soak up what they saw as a clumsy lip sync.

Macy's apologized Thursday later, adding that "several artists have encountered technical difficulties that have had a negative impact on their performance."
Ora tweeted thanks to Macy for "honesty".
At another moment that caught the eye, a performance of the Broadway musical "The Prom" included a kiss between two female members of the cast. The producers told Entertainment Weekly that it was the "first LGBTQ kiss" of the parade.
The representatives of Macy's and the NBCUniversal broadcaster did not immediately respond to inquiries.
