Tekashi69 transferred to a new penitentiary institution used as a witness

Tekashi 6ix9ine was transferred to a federal facility that is regularly used to welcome witnesses who cooperate with the federal government … TMZ has learned.

Sources linked to the new detention center told TMZ … that the federal authorities facilitated the transfer Wednesday night. Our sources indicate that 69 people specifically asked to be part of a remote unit of Crips and Bloods.

Lawyer of 69, Lance Lazzaro, would not want to tell if his client is trying to make an agreement in exchange for spilling the beans on other people's racket case … he would only say to TMZ that the transfer had taken place for "security reasons". Lazzaro told us that 69 members of the MDC gang threatened to threaten him.

Tekashi, who was behind bars until Wednesday night at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he was exposed to other inmates general population, is now in a unit with "neutral inmates". Translation – no gang members.
