Two teenagers arrested after sweeping a tractor and a plane in eastern Utah

A single-engine tractor and Cessna are not your typical get-away vehicles.

But, according to the Uintah County Sheriff's Office, two teenagers did the same thing in eastern Utah on Thanksgiving after apparently going to a group home in the Wasatch Front.

According to FOX 13, boys aged 14 and 15 were staying with friends in Uintah County, where they stole a tractor and drove to a private airstrip in Jensen, about 20 km from Vernal. . They then swept the small plane.

Witnesses saw the plane flying at low altitude, according to the station, which eventually landed at Vernal Regional Airport.

The teenagers were arrested, reports FOX 13, and were transferred to a youth detention center in Vernal.
