Egg Bowl gets ugly with a fight in the middle of the game and shenanigans after the match

Mississippi State and Ole Miss again proved on Thursday that their rivalry did not give way to anyone in terms of bitterness and hostility.

The Bulldogs' victory over the Oxford Rebels on Thanksgiving night led to a two-man fight in the second half, resulting in four ejections and several clashes between representatives of both sides. . Meanwhile, quarterback Nick Fitzgerald of Mississippi State had three touchdowns, while the Bulldogs (8-4, 4-4 SEC) finished the regular season with a 35-3 loss to their rivals.

While Mississippi State led 28-3 just before the end of the third quarter, Ole Miss scored a touchdown on a 41-yard pass to star receiver A.J. Brown. Although the score was reversed because the clock had expired before the slam, the action was just beginning.
