Jim Duggan, a WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw," spent his Thanksgiving holiday in an intensive care unit in South Carolina, revealed his daughter Celia on an Instagram post Thursday.
"Happy Thanksgiving from the Duggan family to yours!" The wrestler's daughter subtitled an image of her and her family surrounding Duggan while he was sitting in a hospital bed. "Daddy is in intensive care, but he's in a good mood and we're all fine – we have a lot to be grateful for this year."
Celia added the hashtags, "#happythanksgiving" and "#family" at the end of her caption.
Although the reason for the hospitalization has not been revealed, fans of the legend of the fight have flooded the Instagram account of Celia to send him their wishes.
"Tell your father that we pray for him," wrote a user.
Another said: "I hope everything is fine! I will keep it in my thoughts!"
A third user incorporated Duggan's famous song and said, "Good recovery soon, badass! HOOOOOOO!"
Duggan began his wrestling career in the late '70s, after his short NFL career injured his knee and fired him from Atlanta Falcons. He gained the fame of the WWE after winning the 1988 Royal Rumble title. Today, despite his age, the 64-year-old is still struggling.
After the Thanksgiving post about his daughter, the father of two mentioned hospitalization on his own Instagram account, saying, "It's okay, hopefully be out for Saturday! But I'm going to see this Saturday."
A few days before landing at the USI, the famous wrestler shared pictures of an autograph session that he had with fans in New York.

The hospitalization of Duggan is not the first health alert that the wrestler has addressed publicly.
In 1998, he announced to WCW Nitro that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer, but that the disease had been detected early and that, after undergoing surgery, he had been able to avoid chemotherapy. .
Duggan returned to WWE in 2005 and joined the brand's Hall of Fame in 2011.
