BOSTON (AP) – A Boston teenager who was seriously injured in the head after being dragged about a kilometer by a car during a flight died.
State police announced Friday that 18-year-old Kemoni Miller had died at the hospital on Wednesday, while the two men who were in the car who dragged him now make the subject of murder charges.
Police announced that Miller had organized a meeting online with 18-year-old Dejon Barnes on November 16 to sell him an iPhone XS.
Police said Barnes, sitting in the passenger seat, picked up the phone and rolled the window, locking Miller's arm. Police said the 23-year-old driver, Kenneth Ford, accelerated at a high speed while dragging Miller.
Barnes and Ford were each held on $ 100,000 bail after pleading not guilty to armed robbery. Their indictment for murder has not been scheduled.
