FOXBORO, Mass. – There was a noticeable absence at the beginning of the New England Patriots practice on Friday.
Quarterback Tom Brady was clearly absent from the open media practice. Brady was limited with a knee injury Wednesday. The Patriots did not train on Thursday, but it was ranked as limited on a hypothetical injury report. Brady injured his knee in the loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 10 of the Patriots. The injury appeared to occur when he caught a ball during a double pass from Julian Edelman.
Forward Dwayne Allen was also absent from Friday's practice. All the other players were present and participated in the last training session of the Patriots before playing against the New York Jets on Sunday.
The Patriots will also have a guided tour on Saturday.
