A Golden Gate Ferry carrying 53 passengers crashed into an outdoor mooring and moored Friday afternoon at the San Francisco Ferry Building, officials said.

Two people aboard Mr. S. San Francisco reported minor injuries and the authorities are investigating the incident.

"We take this incident very seriously," said Priya Clemens, spokeswoman for the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District. "We are glad that no one has been seriously injured, but this type of incident on our ferry service is very unusual."

The captain and crew of the ship are collaborating in the investigation and are currently being tested for drugs and alcohol, officials said. The investigation will also examine the data analysis of the ferry's onboard control systems.

A video taken by a visitor shows the ferry cruising on a guardrail near Gate B. The video also shows people watching the ferry landed hard on the wharf. Many were taking a video on their cell phone while she was stopping.

No other information was immediately available.
