MIAMI NORD, Fla. – Three children and two adults were injured Saturday morning after a crash along the I-95 northbound in North Miami, authorities said.

The accident occurred around 8:30 am, near I-95 exit of 119th Street North West, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade fire department said.

At least one child was ejected from the vehicle, the spokesman said.

Paramedics transported the victims to the Ryder Trauma Center at the Jackson Memorial Hospital. The two adults and two of the children had life-threatening injuries, paramedics said. A child had minor injuries.

Several lanes of the I-95 northbound were closed when the authorities cleared the scene.
