SAUSALITO, Calif. (AP) – A driver died and a California Highway Police Officer was injured after a car ran out of control and struck a patrol vehicle on a highway north of California. California.
According to Andrew Barclay, a PSC officer, he was attending Sausalito on Saturday at a separate vehicle that slipped on Highway 101 in the United States, when a Toyota Corolla crashed against his passenger vehicle.
The agent jumped into the sport utility vehicle to avoid being hit.
Barclay said that the driver had been seriously injured in the accident and that he had died after being taken to the hospital.
The officer was treated for moderate injuries.
