MONROE COUNTY, Ga. – She was arrested after a roadside drug test, with Falsley determining that her cotton candy bag was methamphetamine. After about three months in prison, she is now pursuing, reports WMAZ.
Dasha Fincher, who was in a car with David Maynard Morris Jr., was intercepted in the back of New Year's Eve 2016.
A report from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, obtained by the WMAZ, stated: "During the search, Corporal Williams found a plastic bag filled with blue crystalline substance on the passenger floor."
The report says that Fincher was worried and claimed that it was cotton candy. A roadside drug test indicated the opposite
The test gave a false positive and the MPs said the substance was methamphetamine.
Both were arrested and the lab results did not reveal the truth until March 22, 2017. The results revealed that there was no controlled substance in the sample.
The charges were not dropped until April 18, 2017.
On Thursday, Fincher filed a lawsuit against the deputies who arrested her, the sheriff's office, the manufacturer of drug testing and other people, according to WMAZ.
In prison, Fincher said that she had missed the birth of her twin grandson and that she was not there to support her daughter through miscarriage.
