The National Weather Service ended the snow storm warnings on Monday in northeastern Missouri, the Chicago metropolitan area, and Michigan, but said high winds of up to 72 km / h would continue to blow. around accumulated accumulations of snow during the night.
"The snow will continue to diminish gradually in terms of snow flurries and will end this morning," the Chicago service office said in a statement, warning drivers to be more cautious on slippery roads in low visibility.

North of Chicago, the Evanston City Police Department said in a statement that his power had been knocked out by the storm, although he still could receive calls to 911.
Dozens of school districts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Kansas have canceled their courses due to the weather. The public schools of Chicago had to open.
The storm canceled 1,270 flights on Sunday, a busy day for travelers trying to get home after the Thanksgiving weekend.
