Our last visit to DC Extended Universe was in Justice League, which received mixed reviews and ultimately failed to impress at the box office. But now, the superhero franchise is entering a new era, which is being launched by Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa blaming Arthur Curry. Back in August, it was said that Aquaman screening tests were welcomed. But now, with a month to come, critics share their reactions to social media. First, Sean O'Connell of CinemaBlend was very enthusiastic and praised Aquaman, noting that this is a movie that needs to be experienced through the big screen.

Eric Eisenberg of CinemaBlend was also a big fan of Aquaman, highlighting his action and the performance of Jason Momoa.

Germain Lussier of io9 said that although there are parts of Aquaman it does not work, on the whole it's a nice movie.

Brandon Davis of Comicbook.com stated that Aquaman achieves a good balance between realism and fantasy.

Peter Sciretta of Slashfilm commented that while Aquaman This sounds like an early entry into the Marvel film universe, it's not a bad thing. He also mentioned in a follow-up tweet that many elements of the film he did not like had more to do with the decisions that Zack Snyder had entrusted to his director, James Wan.
