Zach Charbonnet, a 4-star back-back in the 2019 category, is the last hope of getting involved in Michigan football last week.

Charbonnet tweeted Sunday night: "Next stop Ann Arbor!"

He is ranked 15th in the class and No. 306 rookie at the national level, according to the 247Sports composite.

Later Sunday, 4-star defensive tackle East Kentwood Mazi Smith announced his commitment to the Wolverines.

Charbonnet, from Westlake Village (California) Oaks Christian, is listed at 6 feet 2 and 215 pounds.

He ran 2,049 yards on 265 carries (7.7 yards per door) and scored 24 touchdowns last season.

He was recruited by Jay Harbaugh, choosing the Wolverines at the expense of including UCLA, USC, Washington and Wisconsin.

In addition to Smith, the tight end of Ohio, Erick All, has enlisted in Michigan earlier in the day and, on Friday, Joey Velazquez rose from the Ohio State's baseball to Michigan football.
