The regional, the super regional, the qualifiers boil down to that: the finals of the World Series Series of 2018.
The Arkansas Razorbacks – or Diamond Hogs, if you prefer – got their ninth appearance in the World Series, but are still looking for this elusive championship. The last time they reached the World Series Series final was 1979, losing to Cal State Fullerton. The Razorbacks are looking for their first win in Omaha since 2012.
On the other side of the diamond, the Oregon State Beavers hope to break the barrage of disappointment and secure their first title crown since 2007, despite having made the series College World in 2013 and 2017. They were eliminated in half -final of 2017 by eventual finalist LSU.

The Hogs have one of the best teams in the country: they beat 98 circuits this year, placing them tied for third place in the country. Beavers have the No. 4 pick in MLB Draft 2018, one of the nation's top hitters, Nick Madrigal.
Numbers and talent lean in favor of the Razorbacks, but a championship pedigree follows the Beavers.
