Anyone who has seen Jersey Shore Family Vacation, MTV's "Jersey Shore" revival, knows that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's relationship with his girlfriend has been anything but solid.
Ortiz-Magro, 32, who currently lives in Las Vegas, and her ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley, welcomed a little girl, Ariana Sky, on April 3rd.
Now, People confirms that Harley has been charged with domestic battery after an alleged fight with Ortiz-Magro in Las Vegas.
TMZ first reported that Harley was arrested Sunday after she had quarreled with her ex in the car while they were returning from a barbecue.
The report quotes anonymous sources who said Harley hit Ortiz-Magro in the face. When he tried to leave the car and got caught in his seatbelt, she would have dragged him with the car. The report states that their daughter, Ariana, now 2 months old, was also in the car at that time.
In the show, filmed when Harley was pregnant, Ortiz-Magro remains skeptical that he can make his relationship with his work, saying that she had deceived him. He is also shown to be unfaithful to Harley with a woman he meets in Miami during the filming of the series.
As the Jersey Shore Family Vacation began to air, the couple burst into an explosive fight that was captured on social media.
People also reported that police were called earlier this month when Harley and Ortiz-Magro fought for the death of Harley's dog at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas during the filming of the second season. While the police claimed that Harley had hit Ortiz-Magro and claimed to have spit on him, she denied being physically with him. Harley would have blamed Ortiz-Magro for the drowning death of his dog.
Before his clashes with Harley, Ortiz-Magro was known for his stormy relationship, again and again, with Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, another member of the cast on the original "Jersey Shore" who was absent from the resumption of Series.
Ortiz-Magro recently appeared alongside other members of the "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" cast on the "MTV Movie & TV Awards". The season finale is broadcast on Thursday. The second season, already in production, will take "Jersey Shore" from Miami to Las Vegas and will not fail to include the drama that surrounds Ortiz-Magro and Harley.
