More than 650 employees of the cloud computing giant have signed a letter urging CEO Marc Benioff to re-evaluate the contract with US customers and border protection, fearing that this work will make them "complicit in the inhuman treatment of vulnerable people". "We are particularly concerned about the use of Cloud Service to manage border activities," reads the letter, which was obtained by BuzzFeed News. "

The letter goes on to urge Benioff to "develop a plan to review the use of all our products, and the extent to which they are used to harm."

"And we are not aware of the Salesforce services used by CBP for this purpose."
