We finally know how Disney chose which Avengers to kill in Infinity War – BGR

Two months have passed since Thanos killed so many Avengers War in the infinitewhich means it does not matter anymore as a spoiler. You saw the movie, or you heard what happened. If no, no luck.

At the time, we speculated that, whatever Marvel and Disney tell us, the dead would come back to life. After all, a lot of Avengers who died in the movie will have to be relaunched for all the other Marvel movies that will likely take place long after the action in War in the infinite. But it was not clear how Marvel chose who lived and who died. Guess what, we have an official answer about it.

Speaking to io9Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige offered an explanation.

I think that for a series of films that has been going on for 10 years and that is moving towards a conclusion with Avengers 4, which you usually do not have in this kind of film, you can somehow do the math. And realize that it is the original Avengers who remain.

It was, of course, a floating theory after War of infinity cruel end was revealed.

We have the original team scattered across the galaxy that needs to repair what Thanos did. In fact, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that if an Avengers die for good in Avengers 4, it'll be heroes from the original list.

io9 also talked to Feige about a massive marketing problem the next Avengers the movies will have. Marvel and Disney will have to one way or another pretend that the next movies do not show any of the dead cast members and hide the timeline of the events.

Feige said io9 that dead characters like Black Panther can not appear in trailers for Avengers 4.

When asked about Tom Holland's Spider Man Feige tried to suggest that the action in Far from home might not necessarily happen after Avengers 4.

"Well, when will this movie take place?" Feige asked. "We know it's been summer, I think it's the summer holidays, I think he's going to Europe with his friends, I do not know which one." summer … I mean, I know [but you don’t]"

Of course, Marvel could play with the timeline like this for one of the upcoming movies on Dead Star Avengers, especially when it comes to marketing movies.

However, we already know that Spider-Man 2 happens after the events of Avengers 4. Feige said as much last year:

There is so much going on [the third and fourth Avengers movies], as you can imagine, and so much is affected by this that we have felt what better person to hold your hand and lead you into the next incarnation of the MCU, in a realistic and realistic way, than Peter Parker? So, coming out two months after Untitled Avengers, [that’s what] much of what will be Spider-Man's next film.

This was deliberately done as [that]. Like how the events of Captain America: Civil War had an impact on Peter when he was deposed by Tony and was waiting to come back to continue his second year, how on earth are the events of Infinity War and Untitled [Avengers] Will it affect him as he, yes, goes back to his junior year?

In other words, Spider-Man will be resurrected. And if that happens, then the original Avengers will bring everyone back to life and defeat Thanos.
