NEAR SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) –
A former nurse has been accused of taking narcotics intended for patients.
On Tuesday, Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that a state grand jury had charged Danielle Lynn Langham with 23 offenses related to diversion.
Investigators say Langham, 44, worked at a Scottsdale surgery center where she manipulated and diverted narcotic drugs (Fentanyl and Dilaudid) from vials at the surgery center.
She was also charged with having diverted prescription drugs for her personal use and having filled the vials with sterile saline to avoid getting caught.
The alleged offenses occurred between August 2015 and May 2016.
Langham has already sold his nursing license in Arizona on May 2, 2017.
