Gwen Stefani's career spans decades, but this week she has reached a milestone even though she did not know it was possible: start a residency in Las Vegas.
The singer's show, "Gwen Stefani – Just a Girl", in which she performs her greatest hits, including "Hollaback Girl" and "Sweet Escape", started last night at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and will continue until March.
In an interview with "Good Morning America", the triple Grammy Award winner admits that it's easy for her to forget how much she loves to play live until she resume the scene.
"I do not miss her at all, I'm so good at taking my kids and doing mom and spending time with my adorable Blakey and all that but when I get up, I realize that's it still there and I'm OK, I still need that attention and I like it ", she said laughing." So, it has always been there, no matter what gift God gave me and I feel so grateful and I feel so humble and honored to be in Las Vegas to do a show like this, that's It's just another level and it's a challenge in another way "
Stefani, 48, was assembled show full of personal touches, including home videos and photos that his father has taken throughout his childhood. The idea that she said, was to leave the fans in the ups and downs of her life – with the present, she has sprung up, being a "truly incredible place." A reason? His two-year relationship with his boyfriend, country singer Blake Shelton.
"He's my guy, he's my boyfriend, he's really an amazing human, so I feel so grateful for that," she said. "I'm celebrating him in the show, he's inspired me so much, he's changed my life."
