Carrie Underwood had a special fan in the audience at her last show.
The American Idol alum opened the stage for launching the weekend celebrations at the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on Friday – which was also his son, Isaiah, first concert. The 3 year old child is gently sitting on his father, Mike Fisher, during the show, as the hockey star has been able to prevent him from documenting on social media.
"The first show of Izzy, he is proud of his mom!" Fisher wrote on Instagram next to a series of photos of the concert.
Underwood, meanwhile, shared a precious black and white photo of herself holding Isaiah nearby. "It was about 30 seconds before I was on stage tonight …" @hardrockhcac, "she said.
While the Friday night event was the first concert of Isaiah, he watched his mother play before.Tot encouraged his father and the Nashville Predators during the team's hockey game in April, where Underwood sang the national anthem. "As as a child, I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me … and now, as a mother, I want to make my child proud … He can never really see me singing because he's in bed before I go on stage, but last night he was there to watch his daddy play … and he also saw his mom sing for a minute, "wrote Underwood. "Thanks, @iveychilders for catching this little moment … my heart is happy … ❤️."
