2018 NBA free agency rumors, trades, updates: LeBron James possibly organizing free agent meetings in Los Angeles

While the free agency period of the NBA 2018 will not start until midnight on Sunday, July 1, anticipating what will happen and going where it is going has already begun. We already have stars landing in Los Angeles and rumors about players who have dating come early in the free agency. With huge names like LeBron James, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, this promises to be one of the most exciting offsets we've seen in a long time.

There has never been much doubt that the Warriors would retain Kevin Durant this summer, but as for his future to long term with the team, this could be in doubt. According to several reports Durant can only sign a "1 + 1" contract, essentially a one-year contract with a player option for next season which he would almost certainly be removing.

Jeff Green was not the most impressive player of last season, but he had his moments for the Cavs. According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, Cleveland has an interest in bringing back Green for another season. Of course, Green probably wants more money than the minimum of veterans this time around.
