Meghan Markle takes a break from her royal duties

The 36-year-old Duchess of Sussex smiles while attending the Audi Polo Challenge at the Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot, England on Saturday to applaud her husband, Prince Harry, and his brother, Prince William.

The Ancient Suits traded his ceremonial garments for a Shishhanna Ashland gingham dress that hit just below the knee and open carnations and a waist-tie belt. The royal paired the sleeveless summer look with Sarah Flint's Grear leather sandals, a white Biltmore Madewell x fedora with black ribbon and black sunglasses.

Meghan was also accompanied by Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, who were all watching the Duke of Cambridge and his brother play in the polo match. Kate Middleton and her three children, however, were not present.

Earlier this week, Megan was with Harry and Queen Elizabeth at the reception of the Queen's Young Leaders. The bride had a treat in a pale pink Prada set, black suede pumps Aquazzura and a Prada clutch

Since Meghan officially became a royal, she wears more conservative and sophisticated outfits. ET's Royal Expert, Katie Nicholl, has criticized the high cost of the glamorous – and often bespoke – wardrobe of the Duchess of Sussex since her engagement with Prince Harry.
