Junot Diaz, the author of the Pulitzer Prize, speaks of allegations of sexual misconduct against him
The Boston Globe Díaz reports categorically deny accusations of women who behaved inappropriately.
Díaz says that's not it. "Like everything in my life, everything that is me."
Author Zinzi Clemmons and other writers recently shared stories about Diaz's behavior. Clemmons said that Diaz had forcibly kissed him several years ago; others cited cases where they thought they verbally abused them. Diaz said that he takes responsibility for his past actions.
Díaz keeps his teaching and publishing positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston Review as a result of separate investigations of wrongdoing. One of the best Boston Review editors said the charges lacked the "kind of severity" that animated the #MeToo movement
