Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are two of the biggest fashion influencers in the UK.

But there is a popular shoe style that you will not catch the duo around Queen Elizabeth II: the corners.

According to Vanity Fair, the queen is not a supporter of style.

"The queen is not a fan of compensated shoes," a magazine source said. "She does not really like them and is well known among the women in the family."

Meanwhile, Middleton is a fan of wedge heels. The Duchess of Cambridge has worn the style for royal appearances without the queen.

For example, she chose the style for an outing in September 2016 with Prince William, combining gray monsoon quarters with a pale pink dress and characteristic wavy hair.

Middleton's younger sister, Pippa, is a regular in wedge heels, often choosing the style of casual outings. At the Open of France in May, she chose Castaner wedge heels, which she associated with a Ralph Lauren wallet dress with red floral print.

As for Markle, the former star of the "Suits" was not often spotted, favoring flat sandals or stiletto heels. Nevertheless, the Duchess of Sussex wore corners of Aquazzura – one of her favorite brands – to watch Prince Harry play polo last spring.

The no-wedge rule is only another point of the royal dress code that Middleton and Markle must adhere to when they are with the grandmother of their husbands. Other prohibited items? Dresses without stockings and short hems.
