By the time more than two players were selected in the same year, in 1989, five players were selected, including three in the first round. Bobby Humphrey has turned out to be a Pro Bowler of this group. And in 1987, when three men were selected the same year for the first time, Cris Carter, the only Hall of Fame in the Draft Supplemental, was selected.
The list of eligible players includes some impressive defensive backs. of those who should be selected (Western Michigan cornerback Sam Beal and Virginia Tech's cornerback Adonis Alexander) and a third could be chosen unsurprisingly (Brandon Bryant, Mississippi State Security).
As for the rest of the class, Martayveus Carter, a retiree from Grand Valley State and Bright Ugwoegbu, a linebacker from the Oregon State, are also available but are more likely to be signed as undrafted free players after the end of the repechage.
