A new photo of the second upcoming season of Star Trek: Discovery Has sparked the emergence of the USS Enterprise – the vessel that was at the center of the original television series Star Trek . The seventh television series in the universe Star Trek Star Trek: Discovery is established about ten years before the beginning of Star Trek: The Original Series . The show's action focuses on Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) – a science specialist assigned to the USS Discovery, who is struggling to redeem himself following an act of mutiny that has him kill the Klingon warrior who killed his commander. a war between Starfleet and the Klingon Empire in the process.
The first season of Discovery detailed the events of the conflict, ending with a cessation of hostilities, at least for the moment. The season finale is over on a cliffhanger, with the USS Discovery, en route to the Vulcan planet to retrieve their new captain, receiving a distress call from Captain Pike and the USS Enterprise.

The photo, which can be seen below, was first published by EW . It has been released as part of a series of teasers for several television series in San Diego's Comic-Con 2018 preview, and shows Michael standing aboard the USS Enterprise.
Anticipation is prevalent regarding Discovery 's second season, and the opportunities afforded by a meeting with The USS Enterprise. Ignoring the fact that the series revisits the scenery of the very first television series Star Trek there is another reason why fans are eagerly awaiting the episode – the possibility of an appearance from Mr Spock. Mister Spock served as a scientific officer on the USS Enterprise under the command of Captain Pike for several years before Captain James T. Kirk took command of the vessel – a fact established in the original Star Trek pilot , "The Cage."
A Spock cameo could potentially turn out to be doubly interesting, since Michael Burnham is Spock's adopted sister. The first season of Discovery revealed that Michael had been adopted by Spock's father, diplomat Vulcain Sarek, and that she had been brought up in Vulcan traditions in their native world before joining Starfleet . It is unclear, however, whether a meeting between the siblings will take place, although Jonathan Frakes, director of Discovery has confirmed that a young Spock will be represented in Michael's childhood flashbacks on Vulcan in season 2.
Spock appears in Star Trek: Discovery it is unlikely that it is interpreted by Zachary Quinto, who plays the role of Spock in the divergent chronology in which the most recent films Star Trek are defined. There are various reasons for this, the main ones being Quinto's lack of time and legal problems, since Star Trek's film and television rights are currently held by different companies. The only thing certain in all this speculation is that the Trekkers everywhere will look forward to any news regarding the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 franchise.
