Popeyes owner responds after viral videos expose dirt at Detroit store – History

FOX 2 saw an exterminator and several employees of Popeyes inside the restaurant. The Detroit police were also on the scene to keep the spectators moving.

A cleaning crew remained on site most throughout the afternoon, while Popeyes published this statement:

"Food safety and quality are still a priority for the Popeyes brand. local health officials to ensure that the restaurant is completely disinfected and safe, the restaurant is fully operational after passing all sanitary inspections. "
