SANFORD COUNTY , Florida – An Allegiant Air flight had to land in emergency at Orlando Sanford International Airport after the plane struck a bird
. Bird attack occurred while the flight was taking off from Punta Gorda on Wednesday morning.
The flight was diverted to Orlando Sanford International and landed without incident, said airport spokeswoman Lauren Rowe. the bird will be checked by the interview, said Rowe.
Nobody on board the flight was injured, said Rowe
