Kanye West apologized to Drake for participating in their quarrel.
In a series of tweets Wednesday, West addressed the conflict. His words came a few days after his wife Kim Kardashian West dispelled rumors that she had a romantic affair with the Canadian rapper.
"Send energy and love to Drake, his family and his crew," writes West, subtitling a screenshot of an article in Drake's Instagram account that shows his concert scene. "I did not see the show in person, but the pictures are incredible online."
It was a rare compliment of West, who dropped his album, You, weeks before Drake's album, Scorpio.
Last May, West appeared to orchestrate an attack on Drake by producing Pusha T.'s latest album. The album contained a song that called Drake for allegedly using a ghostwriter.
A war of words ensues, Drake and Pusha T exchanging insults on social networks and dissident chunks. Drake will later check the long-standing rumors about Scorpio.
"I understand where the confusion started," tweeted West Wednesday. "Let me start by apologizing for your first release date …"
It was at the time when West was setting off a media storm for its repeated proclamations of love for President Donald Trump. West was also in hot water after giving an interview on TMZ Live, hinting that slavery was a "choice" for African Americans.
"When I put the dates I was a little accelerated to do 25 tweets a day,he said. "TMZ arrived shortly after."

West went on to explain that the two had talked about collaborating on a song called "Lift Yourself", a track West later came out alone in April.
"We were building a link and working together on music," West wrote. "We talked about doing" Lift Yourself "together. I had to give you the opportunity to do it together before taking it out. "
"Since we were building as friends and brothers, I should have talked to Pusha about Quentin Miller's bar," West said. "There would have been no songs with my involvement that had a negative energy towards you."
Although West claimed that he had "never listened to the two songs that followed" between Pusha and Drake, he admitted to having "heard quotes from both songs after their release."
"I have not had any conversations about your child with Pusha," said West. "I do not play with children's idea of people after talking to [Wiz Khalifa] a few years earlier. "
"I understand Pusha's problems as a man if someone mentions that your fiance's men are getting masked," said West, referring to a jab that Drake had made to Pusha on his trail. "I did the same thing sometimes. I love you and I love Pusha and we all have an admiration for everyone's craft.
West's thread ended on a promise that he would soon see Drake.
"It's all Jedi level," said West. "I will come to your show in the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created."
This is not the first time West has tried to crush his problems with Drake.
During a radio interview in August with 107.5 WGCI Chicago, West shot down rumors that he and Drake were arguing over. "It's not beef … We all had love for Drake," he said, according to Fader.
While West added that he was confident they would "reconcile" despite their differences in the past, he confessed to being hurt by Drake.
"I think he was insensitive to him, in any way, to stress me in any way after TMZ, while I'm in Wyoming healing, collecting the pieces, working on my music".

Before West's latest tweets, Drake had not backed down.
In a recent performance in Chicago, West's hometown, Drake changed the lyrics of his single "Know Yourself" in 2015 instead of saying "Then Kanye dropped," he added.
The artist apparently was alluding to you sales, which Scorpio out. Drake's album also produced more hit singles, with 25 titles on Billboard Hot 100 and three titles – "God's Plan", "Nice for What" and "In My Feelings" – going to number 1.
Drake is also touring West on his new track, "No Stylist", leaked on Tuesday. In the clip, Drake raps: "I told him not to wear 350 around me."
