Bell might not play week 1
Bell, unlike last year when he had avoided any confrontation with the team by announcing nine days before the first match and was asked to win a maximum of scopes and receptions, will put the Steelers in a difficult position.
If it comes just before Saturday's deadline to sign and play on Sunday, it's unlikely the Steelers will play it less than 24 hours after it's signed. James Conner could start against the Browns and take some of that mileage on his tires.
The Steelers went well last year. They did everything to get out of Bell they wanted, and then did not pay him what he wanted again this season. Bell seems to make things a bit more uncomfortable this time around.
