Charisse Stinson, 21, faces charges of mistreatment and first degree murder aggravated by the death of Jordan Belliveau.
On Wednesday afternoon, a judge imposed no bail for the murder charges and $ 500 for the child abuse charges.
Jordan's grandmother, Jessica Belliveau, said she was satisfied with the judge's decision.
"She does not deserve a link," said Belliveau. "Why should she have a chance? My grandson did not have a chance."

Meanwhile, the child's foster parents, who had custody of Jordan from January 2017 to May 2018, said the boy had "failed through the system".
"He flourished and grew up in a community that loved him deeply," said Sam Warren. "Jordan failed in the system."

Jordan was last seen in the Lake Avenue and East Bay Drive area of Largo on Saturday.
Police: history was all a lie
According to police, Stinson told them that she and her son were walking home from home on Saturday night when she accepted a tour from a stranger. She claimed that the man, named Antwan, had attacked and beat him unconscious. When she woke up at Largo Central Park, Jordan was gone, she said.
The story was utterly false according to the police, who added that Stinson's injuries were self-inflicted.
According to a police report, Stinson was upset by Jordan and hit the child on the face with the back of his hand. Police said that the back of his head had hit a wall causing serious injuries.
He suffered seizures throughout the night until his death, the authorities said. Police said Stinson then took the body into the wooded area and left the boy there.
Authorities said Jordan had spent most of his life in foster care. He was taken from Stinson at the age of three months, but resumed detention in May.
Police reports from July of this year show a history of domestic violence between Jordan's parents.
