Bichir plays the hero of the movie, Father Burke. The actor said The Hollywood Reporter that his character refused to be frightened: "Father Burke is the James Bond of souls. He's like the dirty Harry of demons. You're not joking with Father Burke unless you want to hurt yourself. By playing it, I was really very powerful and protected at all times with his armor that comes with greater energy. So I was not only comfortable, but also very calm and relaxed and happy.

The nun is the fifth film in the universe of Conjuring Cinematic, a horror series of an overall amount of more than a billion dollars on a collective budget of less than $ 100 million.

The final effort is centered on a survey of Father Burke and Sister Irene on The Nun, a terrifying spirit that had brief but memorable appearances in Conjuring movies

Farmiga, who plays Sister Irene, has now become a veteran of horror, having also participated in several seasons of FX American horror story. Despite this, she remains shy when it comes to horror movies and has even found filming The nun to be a phantasmagorical experience.

"I'm not a big fan of horror movies in general. I do not think I've ever seen a horror movie all the way through the movie. I do not like that, "said the actress," We filmed in Romania and Transylvania, and there is so much history there and so much soul, that you can almost feel the spirits that exist and who surround us. There are times when you walk alone in a castle hallway and it's pretty weird.

Corin Hardy, director of photography, had a frightening experience filming in a haunted Romanian castle.

"We were in an ancient old fortress in Romania and I was shooting in this tunnel 200 feet long, underground and black. As the camera went, I had to enter a room to watch my monitors, which are a small sealed room, "he explained." On entering, I saw two men standing in the room. darkness watching. were Romanian crew members, and I directed the shot and I turned around to see what they thought – and there was no one there!

In the wake of the frightening experiences that the actors and the crew had to make the film, the audience of the first squirmed in their seats and panting with fear while undergoing a lot of thrills and chills.
