Liu Jiaqi said that he was only in Kenya to earn money
A Chinese man will be deported after seeing a video of him making racist comments, according to the Kenya Immigration Department.
The man, identified as Liu Jiaqi, was captured in a video calling all Kenyans, including President Uhuru Kenyatta, "monkeys."
Mr. Liu and his representatives have yet to comment on the situation.
The authorities revoked his work permit and declared that he would be deported on grounds of racism.
An employee filmed Mr. Liu, a motorcycle dealer, saying he hated Kenya because it "smells bad and [its people are] poor, crazy and black ".
When the employee asked why he wanted to stay in the country, the shopkeeper said that he was there only to make money.
The police arrested him a few hours after the online video broadcast on September 5th.

It is unclear whether the immigration service can expel someone for reasons of racism.
According to Anne Soy of the BBC in Nairobi, the Immigration Department says it is processing the eviction, which could mean they are looking for something to accuse it of.
Discrimination based on color is against the law, she says.
In 2015, the owner of a Chinese restaurant in Nairobi was arrested after being outraged by restaurant policy that would have banned African customers at night.
The journalist was accused of operating without a liquor license and not respecting public health standards, but nothing to do with racism.
China has invested millions of dollars in Kenya in recent years, including a new railway linking the capital, Nairobi, to the coast.
President Kenyatta was in Beijing earlier this week to attend the China-Africa Cooperation Summit where he said: "Kenya appreciates China's determination to support Kenya's development goals."
