Tiger Woods is looking to make the BMW Championship his penultimate round of the 2017-18 PGA Tour season.

He enters week 25 of the FedEx Cup standings and must remain in the top 30 to qualify for the Tour Championship. It looks like Woods needs a spot in the top 35 this week to stay in that top 30 for East Lake.

Can Woods do it? His quest begins Thursday at Aronimink.

We will follow his opening round, shot, below:

Hole n ° 18: By 4, 466 meters

OFF THE TEE (1:27 pm ET): Tiger queues to the driver. It lands on the right side of the fairway, bounces in front of a bunker and makes a good 50 yards in the center right. Every part of his game – driving, approach and short game – works perfectly until now.

Hole n ° 17: By 3, 211 meters

OFF THE TEE (1:16 pm ET): Tiger loses this one a bit to the right, but this one ends well about 30 feet to the right of a front axle.

ON GREEN (13H24 ET): Just online but a good 2 feet short. Tiger enters from there for par. This return to Scotty this week goes so well at first. Tiger has already made three putts of 10 feet or more and two of 5 feet, without making any mistake. By the way, Tiger is tied with Byeong Hun An.

TIGER THE DAY: 5 to less than 8 (T-1)

Hole n ° 16: By 5, 542 meters

OFF THE TEE (12:59 ET): This pilot is on the right side of the fairway. Beautifully done.

PLAN OF APPROACH (13h07 ET): Oh baby! Tiger shot that long 241-yard iron right next to the flag, and the flag landed 5 feet below the hole and came out five feet to the right and just beyond the cup. This is a fantastic look for the eagle. He's back, and this putt right now would give him first place.

ON GREEN (13H13 ET): YES!!! Tiger walked with this one with at least a foot to go and it falls on the left. It's an EAGLE and the main role!

TIGER THE DAY: 5 to 7 (1st)

Hole n ° 15: By 4, 502 meters

OFF THE TEE (12:44 ET): Tiger is a little behind this pilot and he misses the fairway a few meters to the right, in a bad state. The lie seems to be fine, so he should be fine.

PLAN OF APPROACH (12:51 ET): It's very well executed. Tiger lands right and about twenty feet from the cut, which takes place and ends at 20 feet to the right of the hole. Another decent birdie look.

ON GREEN (12:56 ET): A decent effort, but this right to the other is not enough. This ball turns to the left and under the cup. This is a tap-in by.

TIGER THE DAY: 3 to 6 (T-1)

Hole # 14: By 3, 214 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:33 ET): Tiger really hated that one, but it's really not bad at all. This ball ends about 30 feet to the left of the cup, almost in height. He acted as if it were going to be horrible, but that shot should lead to a two-putt by.

ON GREEN (12:40 ET): The speed of Tiger is a bit far here. His first 40-foot putt is about 4 feet. But he does not drain this problem.

TIGER THE DAY: 3 to 5 (T-1)

Hole n ° 13: By 4, 389 meters

OFF THE TEE (12:16 ET): It was such a sweet swing with an iron. It's a lower flight and this ideal shot lands and runs in the right side of the fairway. Perfect.

PLAN OF APPROACH (12:24 ET): TW really feels it now! He drops it 10 to 12 feet to the left and a 145-yard left pin and it jumps forward and back slightly to finish 10 feet under the cup. It will be another good look and give it 3 under four years.

ON GREEN (12:28 ET): He rolls this Scotty! That goes in the center left and we have three birdies at the beginning of TW. The leader moves once more, which means that Tiger birdies still hold back part of the head.

TIGER THE DAY: 3 to 4 (T-1)

Hole n ° 12: By 4, 460 meters

OFF THE TEE (12h03 ET): This pilot can be in the dead center of the fairway. Perfect.

PLAN OF APPROACH (12:10 ET): Another beautiful This one lands at 10 feet from the flag and falls just after the landing. This is a 12-15 footer for birdie.

ON GREEN (12:14 ET): Drained! The Scotty is back and groove. Tiger is tied again.

TIGER THE DAY: 2 to 3 (T-1)

Hole n ° 11: By 4, 407 meters

OFF THE TEE (11:48 ET): Another pilot, but this one is shot. This ball lands a few meters in the left and enters it. He will always have a small club on it, his approach depends on the lie.

PLAN OF APPROACH (11:53 ET): He had a good lie from 106 yards, and that's fine from there. A front spit, but it lands without fear about 5 feet to the right and under the hole and that falls well. It ends about 18 feet to the right of the cup, but it's fine with this pin back in. Another decent birdie look.

ON GREEN (11:59 am ET): This putt has never been enough, and it's missing a few inches high and it stays left. An easy tap-in

TIGER THE DAY: 1 to 2 (T-1)

Hole n ° 10: By 4, 448 meters

OFF THE TEE (11:33 ET): The driver, and it is grilled. It lands on the left side of the fairway and passes about 30 meters ahead and enters the middleman. A good drive there.

PLAN OF APPROACH (11h39 ET): OK, good start. It lands and ends about 20 feet to the left and just below the cup. Not bad at all, a decent air and the worst at worst.

ON GREEN (11:44 ET): Welcome, Scotty! Tiger drains this putt for the birdie, and his return to his faithful Scotty Cameron is bearing fruit here. A big birdie of opening and he is already tied head.

TIGER THE DAY: 1 to 1 (T-1)

Pre-Round

Tiger takes off at 11:30 ET and he will use a different putter for the third week in a row. It's true … the Scotty is back!
